As you can see, I treed this big dog, Texas.  I think Zelda was impressed, although she is pretending not to be in this photo. 

Mom got flowers for our anniversary

It is the one year anniversary of our retirement and the Prudential people sent Mom flowers! She is happy and I got a piece of steak.

Playdate

I'm leaving for a play date with Zelda in Atlanta while Mom takes a workshop. Zelda is a Havanese and her Mom and mine have been friends forever.

Toughing it out

We lost power at the VA Gutherie's in Alexandria on Friday night in the BIG STORM and it still isn't back on.....today is Wednesday.  We've been sleeping downstairs on the floor because it's cooler, but last night we stayed at a Westin.  We are hoping the power comes back on today.  Happy Fourth of July!
